Sale of gold notes has started in all post offices in Krishnagiri district.
Krishnagiri District Post Office Superintendent Raghavendran issued a statement in this regard: The sale of gold notes is being implemented in all post offices in Krishnagiri district from the 19th to the 23rd. On the closing date, the gold bonds can be converted into cash at the current gold rate. Even after five years the gold bond can be converted into cash.
In this, for the investors, through the Central Reserve Bank, 2.5 percent interest is calculated every six months and added to the investors’ account. In this scheme, first the postal receipt will be issued to the payers and after 20 days, the gold certificate will be issued.
Aadhaar Number, PAN Number and Bank Account are required to join the Gold Bond Scheme. By keeping gold bonds, you can borrow from banks when you need money. People of Krishnagiri district can benefit from this scheme. Thus, he said.
