The Israeli Energy Company won a tender for electricity production in Europe

The renewable energy company Afcon announced today (Wednesday) that it won a tender for the production of electricity on behalf of the Polish government for a total of about 20 megawatts. According to estimates, the cost of the investment will be about NIS 50-55 million. In addition to this, in accordance with the terms of the tender, the project will be entitled to a guaranteed rate, linked to the consumer price index in Poland for 15 years starting in 2025, in relation to electricity output at an average rate of about 55% of the expected electricity production in the project over the winning period.
