A 19-year-old man was fatally injured this evening (Wednesday) in the city of Jaffa after fire was opened on him. The Israel Police announced that the circumstances of the incident are being investigated and that the background is criminal. The police also announced that a shooting suspect had been arrested.
As mentioned, the injured person was taken to the hospital in critical condition. An emergency medic on a MDA motorcycle Yosef Kurdi said: “The injured man was lying on the road unconscious and suffering from penetrating injuries to his body. He was without a pulse and not breathing, we gave him medical treatment and performed CPR on him and evacuated him to the hospital in an MDA intensive care vehicle when he was in critical condition.”

Magen David Adom reported: “MDA medics and paramedics provide medical treatment and refer a 30-year-old man to Wolfson Hospital in critical condition during CPR operations, with a penetrating injury to his body.”
As mentioned, the police announced shortly after the incident that a suspect in the act was arrested for questioning. This is a 22-year-old resident of Hod Hasharon who is suspected of being involved in the incident. “The circumstances are being investigated,” the police said.
