This was reported by the country’s business magazine ‘El Financiro’. However, the news reported that the idea was proposed as a joke in a consultation meeting attended by members of the central bank. It also stated that the members had talked about this before the World Cup final. In this context, model currency notes with Messi pictures have gone viral on social media.
