Doha: International sports organizations have praised Qatar for its organizing excellence, which gave football visitors an unforgettable World Cup.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) praised Qatar for hosting a memorable World Cup. Qatar prepared the most beautiful venue for the first football world cup that came to Asia after 20 years.
World Cup matches have also attracted a lot of attention due to their unexpected and exciting rivalry, including upset victories. Asian teams also managed to perform well. AFC President Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa pointed out that Qatar was able to fulfill its promise in the most beautiful way. Qatar has been preparing for the World Cup for 12 long years by facing severe criticism and accusations against hosting the World Cup. 64 matches involving 32 countries were held in Qatar over 29 days from November 20 to December 18. About 34 lakh people, including more than 14 lakh fans from foreign countries, came to the stadium to watch 64 matches. Amidst the criticism, Qatar presented a wonderful World Cup and an enjoyable and entertaining hosting experience for those who arrived with concerns.
