Kannada movie Gandhara, which was made on a small budget and collected a lot of money, surprised the film industry and the fans. It was a hit in Kannada, so they dubbed and released it in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and other languages. The film was a box office hit in all languages.
Made at a cost of Rs 8 crore, Gandhara collected over Rs 400 crore. The film was directed by Rishabh Shetty and played the lead role. It was formed based on the religious worship of the tribal people living in Karnataka. The cow chasing scene in the film and the Samiyata scene called Deivakola impressed the fans a lot. Leading actors and actresses including Rajinikanth praised the film.
Will there be a second part of Gandhara? Fans were questioning that. Responding to this, the film’s producer Vijay Krakanthur said, “The second part of Kandhara will definitely be ready. It will either be a sequel to the first part or a story that precedes the first part. The story will be discussed with Rishabh Shetty soon.”
