Gold Fraud
Villupuram Vandimedu KVR. Sridhar (age 40), son of Deivasikamani, hails from Nagar area and is a jeweler. He asked Saravanakumar, son of Selvakumar, a resident of Villupuram Killaperumbakkam area, to give pure gold weighing 188.53 grams to make 75 pairs of gimmicks.
Sridhar bought it by making jewelery weighing 128.53 grams. Saravanakumar has been waiting for the remaining 60 grams of gold without gimmicks. Sridhar went to him several times and insisted, but Saravanakumar did not give him the jewelry. He also cheated by not returning the gold he had bought.

Sridhar lodged a complaint at the Villupuram city police station. After that Saravanakumar returned only 1 gram of gold to Sridhar. It is said that the remaining 59 grams of gold is still being cheated without returning it. Its value will be Rs.3 lakh.
Sridhar again complained about this to the city police station. Accordingly, the police have registered a case against Saravanakumar under the trust fraud section and are investigating.
