The cremation took place at the Kadampur Panchayat Crematorium. Worked as manager of Sangha Chetana, lyricist, dramatist and Kannur district office bearer of Progressive Kala Sahitya Sangam.
Currently he is a member of CPM Katachira A branch. Wife: Sumitra (Retd. Headmistress, Katachira LP School). Children: Jeejo (Murali National Book Stall Palakkad), Priyan Murali (Jasin Fancy Chala). Daughter-in-law: Seema (ESI, Thotata) Vanaja (Teacher, Katachira LP School)
