Amala Paul’s Teacher is trending on Netflix

After a gap of five years, Amala Paul is making her second entry into Malayalam cinema with a powerful role as Devika. Directed by Vivek, ‘Teacher’ was released on Netflix yesterday after a great response in theatres. The film topped the Netflix trending list in a single day.

Hakeem Shah, Manju Pillai and Chemban Vinod who play the lead roles in the film have given excellent performances. The story that goes through Devika, a teacher and her dilemmas, gives a new lesson to the audience.

The film is produced by Varun Tripuneni, Abhishek Ramisetty, G Prithviraj and VTV Films under Nutmag Productions banner. Screenplay by PV Shaji Kumar and Vivek. Cinematography was done by Anu Moothed.
