Heavy rain warning for eight districts! | nakkheeran

Chennai Meteorological Center has informed that eight districts including Thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram and Sivagangai in Tamil Nadu are likely to receive heavy rains due to the depression prevailing in the Southwest Bay of Bengal region.

Similarly, Chennai and its suburbs are likely to experience light rains, the Chennai Meteorological Department said. Accordingly, since last night, there has been widespread light rain in Chennai.

It has also been informed that fishermen should not go to these areas as typhoon will blow in South West Bengal Sea, Sri Lanka Coastal Areas, Tamil Nadu Coastal Areas, Kumari Sea, Gulf of Mannar.
