Kymco has a wide range of models, some of which have been best sellers for several years, scooters with great features and comfort. The novelties of the brand go through the Downtown 350 GT and the Agility 350. The qualities of the first of them lie in a modern body design, together with a certain sportiness and a generous space for two occupants. Also stands out for a complete equipment, where the new TFT color box stands out, the LED headlight, with connectivity and a tire pressure monitoring system, cruise control and a hole under the seat for an integral and a jet. The 321 cc single-cylinder engine. In its latest version, it declares 28.3 CV and 20 Nm of torque, and it is equipped with traction control as standard.
The Downtown 350 GT, as its name suggests, is a scooter designed as a tireless travel companion, with which to experience both the city and long extra-urban journeys thanks to its features designed for increase comfort.
In this model, the front section stands out, which offers a generously sized shield, which guarantees optimal protection against the wind -even in the cold months-. The front part of the shield houses the optical units with full LED technology in vertical development and the direction indicators mounted flush with the surface of the body. The windscreen with a rounded top design minimizes turbulence in the helmet area.
The two-level saddle, enhanced by the non-slip coating, has been designed to guarantee maximum comfort, with a very large passenger area completed by ergonomic grips that are perfectly integrated into the seat. The design is also enriched by the exhaust end equipped with a cover in the same color as the bodywork. The rear light group is striking, also full LED and with integrated turn signals.
Likewise, in the saddle the TFT color screen of the instrument panel stands out, which thanks to the smartphone connectivity system allows you to manage phone calls and messages, as well as display the navigation instructions. Available screens give access to a wealth of information, including the fuel level in the 12.5-litre tank and the outside temperature. Tire pressure can be monitored directly from the screen thanks to the TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) sensors. The standard equipment is completed with cruise control and the compartment under the seat with courtesy light, a compartment that allows you to store a full-face helmet and a jet, as well as other useful objects in daily life.
Finally, the engine of the Kymco Downtown 350 GT offers benchmark performance for its segment. Whether in the city, with continuous stops and starts, or driving at high speed, the liquid-cooled 321 cc, 28.3 HP and 30 Nm single-cylinder engine guarantees smooth and linear power delivery, with particularly low vibrations. All this with a declared consumption of 26 kilometers per liter, quite remarkable. There is also traction control, very useful to increase safety and the feeling of driving on surfaces with little grip.
Agility 350
The Downtown has not been the only novelty recently presented by the manufacturer. The Agility 350 scooter, a mid-powered high-wheel scooter, will also be available. The engine offers 320.6 cc. of displacement and 27.8 CV of power, keeping the rest of the characteristics unchanged, such as liquid cooling or the four-valve cylinder head.
In the cycle part, a disc on each wheel, on a scooter with a 16″ front and 14″ rear wheel. The body shows an elegant but more functional style, in a scooter about which less information has been given. Possibly it will not be marketed in Italy and it is not yet known if it will reach the Spanish market.
