Abdulnazar Madani expressed his condolences on the death of prominent documentary director and human rights activist KP Shashi. KP Sasi was a prominent personality who chose the cultural field to speak for the victims of state terror. He used his thinking, acting and writing to advocate for victims’ rights and liberation. KP Sasi was fulfilling his mission by presenting the innocents who become criminals in the script of the police officers who act as the ax hands of the state through new age documentaries and brought them to the masses.
KP Sasi is the person who has intervened the most against the violation of human rights that I am currently facing. He used to visit me in Bangalore from time to time and visited me here a few weeks ago.
The documentary “Fabricated” directed by him based on the days of my denial of justice has been very helpful in clarifying the falsehoods of the cases charged against me and has led to the conviction and acceptance of my innocence by many people working in the field of cultural education.
The sudden death of KP Sasi has caused a lot of discomfort and pain. Madani also conveyed his sincere condolences on his demise.
