Five people died
Officials said that 5 people died in this accident. Initial reports said two bodies were removed from the bus and two others (including the driver) were rescued and taken to hospital.
A police officer said that three more bodies were found early this morning. Speaking about the accident, the Civil Guard spokesperson said that the horrific accident took place on a steep incline. The driver said he had not been drinking.
Damaged guard rail
Meanwhile, a motorist who noticed a damaged guardrail on the bridge first raised the alarm and the rescue team received a call from the bus.
This helped locate the wreckage, officials said. The cause of the accident is still unknown. But it is reported that this may have happened due to bad weather.
