The police has taken action against the objectionable advertisement in Chinnamalai, Chennai, amid growing criticism on Twitter.
To reduce crime in Chennai, arrest absconding criminals, monitor old criminals and prevent them from engaging in criminal activities, various criminal activities are being carried out by the Chennai Police. In this context, a photo of a controversial billboard with obscene content near Chinnamalai in Chennai went viral on the internet. The billboard mentioned more than one hostel “get in and fuck any girls @ 1,000/-”. While this has come to the attention of the city police, the Chennai police has informed on Twitter that appropriate action will be taken.
Meanwhile, the police has issued a report on the controversial billboard, in which the information on the billboard has been changed by an unidentified person using Wi-Fi technology. Individuals and organizations should be aware of the dangers of providing passwordless Wi-fi service in public places and use strong Wi-fi passwords. The objectionable hoarding has been removed from Chinnamalai, it said.
