The incident took place on Wednesday in Rewa district. Twenty-four-year-old Pankaj Tripathi was arrested. Pankaj asked him to marry the nineteen-year-old girl immediately, but the girl refused. Reportedly, there was brutal beating right after.
The young man continued beating the woman till she lost consciousness. Pankaj, who went on the run after the footage went viral, was arrested today by the police from Uttar Pradesh. After it was found that it was built illegally, the house was demolished.
