As the school students are currently given a holiday after the 2nd term examination is over, information about the school holidays for the coming month of January can be found in this post.

School Holidays:

Half-year / 2nd semester examinations were conducted for school students in Tamil Nadu in December. After the exams, school students have been given a holiday from December 24. After this series of vacations, the 3rd term for school students is about to begin. Accordingly, schools will be reopened on January 5, 2023 for students of classes 1 to 5 and on January 2, 2023 for students of classes 6 to 12.

In this case, January 2023 is going to have more holidays like many festivals, special days and weekends. A total of 5 Sundays, 4 Saturdays, and 3 days off on Pongal, Thiruvalluvar Day and Uzhavar Thirunal are coming up in January. Also, a total of 13 days will be left for the students of classes 6 to 12 due to the Republic Day holiday on January 26, and 16 days due to the additional holidays given to primary school students on January 2, 3, 4. All the students are very happy with this.
