Deadly brawl at the exit of a Sarthe nightclub: two men imprisoned

One ultra-violent evening too many. Two men have been indicted for murder committed in an organized gang and imprisoned in the investigation into the death of a man leaving a nightclub in Ruaudin (Sarthe) in early December, the gendarmes announced on Monday. The night establishment had been closed administratively and for six months, by the prefecture, the week following his death.

Indeed, on December 10, at the exit of a nightclub near Le Mans, “three individuals clashed in the car park because of a dispute between them, a fight during which blows were struck with their bare hands on one side, by knife and firearm on the other, resulting in the death of a young man of 23 years (…)”, indicated the gendarmeries of the departmental grouping of Sarthe and the research section of ‘Angers in a press release.

Hit by two bullets in the neck and chest

“The cause of the altercation between these young people, from Guyana for the victim, from Guadeloupe for one and from Martinique for the other of the two implicated, would result from a guerre of clans or territory, for which violent confrontations, including armed ones, had already been observed in recent months”, according to the same source.

The victim had been hit in the neck and chest by two bullets according to France Bleu. The witnesses could not be heard at first after fleeing the morning of the tragedy.

The two suspects, aged 21 and 23, were finally arrested “smoothly” in Belfort (Territoire de Belfort) and Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique), according to the same source. 20 Minutes which recalls that the administrative closure of the establishment comes when “multiple acts of violence and aggression” have indeed been noted “in recent months by the gendarmerie inside and around the establishment” , citing the prefecture.
