Heavy rains in Kuwait on Tuesday caused waterlogging on many roads in the country. Thunderstorms and hail were also experienced in different parts of the country.
It rained heavily in Kuwait on Tuesday, confirming the forecast of the weather center. Heavy thunder and hail were experienced during the two days of rain. Ahmadi Port recorded 63 mm of rain, Kuwait City 17.7 mm and Kuwait Airport 12.5 mm. Access to the water-logged road was restricted and traffic was controlled to avoid emergencies.
The Weather Center said that the weather will improve gradually in the next few days, but light rain is likely in some parts. Meteorologist Abdulaziz Al-Kharaqi said that the temperature will drop to eight to five degrees Celsius due to northwesterly winds of 15 to 45 kilometers per hour. He explained that the continuous rains are due to moist atmosphere and low pressure.
