Municipal authorities have recovered 48 cents of public allotment land worth Rs 4.80 crore belonging to the Corporation in Saravanampatti, Coimbatore.
Permission has been granted to construct houses in a layout at Saravanampatti Omshakti Nagar under North Zone, Coimbatore Corporation. It is said that while the houses have been built and many people have settled there, some people have encroached and tried to sell the 48 cent public allotment land in the area.
Corporation Commissioner M. Pratap got information about this. According to his order, Assistant Town Planning Officer (Planning) Vimala, under the leadership of Assistant Executive Engineer Sakthivel, the Town Planning Officers of the Corporation recovered 48 cents of land owned by the Corporation and placed a notice board there. The value of the recovered land is Rs.4.80 crore.
