Lead: Hombale Films to join hands with Empuran
Mohanlal-Prithviraj film Empuraan will be one and a half coming. South India’s renowned Homebale Films, produced by KGF, has joined hands in the production of Empuraan. The shooting of Empuraan, produced by Aashirvad Cinemas and Prithviraj Productions, will begin mid-next year. Prithviraj will enter the sequel of Salaar directed by Prashant Neel starring Prabhas in January. Salaar is Prithviraj’s first film in the New Year. Prithviraj will play the lead role in Salaar starring Shruti Haasan.
Prithviraj’s decision is to enter the works of Empuran after the completion of Salar. Mohanlal has to enter Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Malaikottai Valiban. Mohanlal and Lijo Jose Pellissery’s first film together is P. S. Written by Rafique. After the completion of Malaikottai Valiban, Mohanlal decided to dive into the release activities of Burroughs. Barrows is Mohanlal’s first directorial venture, which is being prepared as a three-dimensional film. It is being produced by Anthony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
Empuran, scripted by Murali Gopi, will be the most expensive film in Malayalam. Empuran’s location is completely foreign countries.
