A college student died when a two-wheeler collided with a mini cargo van in Gangeyam. The CCTV footage of the lightning speeding two-wheeler hitting the mini cargo van has also been released.
Balamurali hails from Chaudambikai Nagar, Kangeyam, Tirupur district. His son is Amritwasan (19). He was studying in his first year in a private college in Coimbatore. Yesterday, when the two-wheeler driven by Amirthavasan was near the Nilakattu Pudur section on the Gangeyam-Tirupur road, it collided with a mini cargo van that was returning to the road at lightning speed. Amirthavasan suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot.
While the Kangeyam police have registered a case and are investigating the accident, now the CCTV footage of the accident has come out shocking the onlookers.
According to the video, it is seen that the mini cargo van is turning slowly on the road section and then the youth’s two-wheeler comes at lightning speed and collides with it. The scenes were recorded on a CCTV camera installed in a shop there.
