Nega Erez made a painful confession: “I experienced a lot of heartache, it was difficult”

by time news

When asked what her highlight moment was this year, Erez answered: “The performance at the Menorah. We were supposed to perform there in February, and we performed there at the end of April, also because of Corona matters. It was a show in which 100 people participated on stage and every moment someone went into isolation. At one point we had to cancel and that was it A lot of heartache for a lot of people who worked like crazy. When we performed at the end, it came at a broken moment – there was a wave of terrorist attacks. When we performed, it was a renewed understanding of the power of music and of the meeting of so many people together, for me it was a huge moment.”

When she appeared in Indie Negev, she told the audience at the beginning of the show, “I came here tonight a little sick and on my period a lot,” and received a lot of comments on that: “As I said this, there was a lot of applause. I asked if there were any other menstruating girls here, and there was a lot of applause as well as boys. I said, “Well, that’s interesting. An audience that goes to a festival and especially when sleeping in tents, seeing performance after performance, it’s an experience. It’s hard. It’s not an easy thing.”
