Ahmedabad: Cricketers Hardik Pandya and his brother Krunal Pandya visited Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his home. Hardik tweeted that he accepted Amit Shah’s invitation and visited him on New Year’s Eve. Hardik is the interim captain of the Indian Twenty20 team.

Hardik Pandya also shared pictures of his visit to Amit Shah on social media. Hardik took to Twitter to thank Amit Shah for sparing a portion of his precious time for them. Hardik said it was a happy and proud experience to visit him.
The Pandya brothers visited Amit Shah when the Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka was about to begin on January 3. Injured captain Rohit Sharma, other senior players like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, R Ashwin and Shikhar Dhawan are not playing in the Twenty20 series.
There are indications that Hardik, who made Gujarat Titans champions in the first season of the IPL, will soon become the permanent captain of the Indian Twenty20 team. India will play 3 T20Is and 3 ODIs against Sri Lanka.
