In various videos posted on social networks and collected by Spanish media, the public at the José-Zorrila stadium in Valladolid can be heard shouting racist insults and shouting monkeys on Friday during the match Real Madrid won 2-0 in the part of the 15th day of La Liga.

“Regarding the events that occurred yesterday (Friday, editor’s note), LaLiga continues to investigate and has detected in videos posted on social networks racist insults from a few people (not groups), which will be the subject of complaints, as in previous cases,” a LaLiga spokesperson told AFP on Saturday.

At the beginning of December, the Spanish justice dismissed an investigation into racist songs sung by certain Atlético Madrid supporters in September against Vinicius.

Even if the songs were “unpleasant, inappropriate and disrespectful”, they were uttered in the context of “a football match of maximum rivalry, accompanied by other derogatory or mocking allusions”, had justified in a press release the parquet floor of Madrid.
