But now the former leader of International Vishwa Hindu Parishad (AHP) Pratish Vishwanath has come out against the film. Pratish raised a threat on Facebook saying, ‘If you want to show something wrong in the name of Guruvayoorappan, just listen to his own Variyam Kunnan announced by Rajumon (Prithviraj).’ Pratish Vishwanath said in a Facebook note that ‘Unnimukundan is able to create a sense of direction for Malayalam filmmakers.’ Hashtags ‘Unni Mukundan’ and ‘Malikappuram’ have also been added to the note.
