First surgical robot performed in Kuwait

Kuwait City | The ENT Department of Jaber Al Ahmad Hospital, Kuwait, has completed a workshop on robotic surgery for head and neck tumors. A specialist in ear, nose, throat and head and neck tumors from the Mayo Clinic in America. The sculpture workshop was with the participation of Thomas Nagel.

In the first workshop in Kuwait, five surgical procedures were performed using the surgical robot in the eye and neck tumor surgery department. The workshop included lectures for head and neck oncologists.
