With the commitment to tend to the growth and benefit of state workers from San Juan, El Government of San Juan through the Social Action Fund (CAS) delivered, from January 1 to December 31, 2022, more than 1,630 million pesos between the different loan lines that offers.
In the breakdown, the CAS granted 8,956 personal loans, which is equivalent to $1,393,537,000.-, 101 assistance loans (in total, $8,451,300.-), 540 of the “Renovation and Remodeling” line (equivalent to $ 168,869,010.50) and 307 of the “Rodados” line (which is equivalent to 63,730,980.60). In total, there were 9,904 loans in the year 2022, which in exact figures would be $1,634,588,291.10. On average, 42 loans were delivered per day during 2022.
It should be noted that the Loan Department provides Personal Loans to Public Sector employees at lower rates than in the financial market and discounted administrative expenses, only once, at the time of granting the loan. In addition, Assistance Loans are delivered to meet urgent health needs.
In addition, the line of loans for Home Remodeling has a lower rate than personal loans and a repayment term of up to 48 installments. The modality of this line of loans has the particularity that the accreditation of the amount granted is done as follows: up to 30%, to the bank account of the applicant and the rest, to the account of the provider(s) that have presented the same .
The Rodados Line is intended exclusively for the acquisition of Bicycles and/or Mopeds and their spare parts and accessories, as well as for the acquisition of used or new Motor Vehicles (payment on account), their spare parts, auto parts and technical service. This line was also thought to extend the benefits to the private sector dedicated to the items that include these goods.
Finally, it is important to mention that the Social Action Fund carries out the “Solidarity Crusade” in health, education and the elderly. This Crusade delivered necessary equipment and articles to different health centers, schools and centers for the elderly.
