In 2070, nearly 30% of French people will be aged 65 or over

The planet has just passed, in November 2022, the bar of 8 billion human beings and should have more than 10 billion by the end of the century. And we, French, how many will we be in the future? In this video released in partnership with The Blob, the extra-mediaLaurent Toulemon, researcher at the National Institute for Demographic Studies (INED), sheds light on the latest projections concerning the French population over the coming decades, as well as on the method used, the parameters observed and the issues.
