Mumbai: Rishabh Pant, who was involved in a car accident on December 30, will undergo a tendon surgery once he is shifted to Mumbai. It is reported that Rishabh Pant’s condition will be monitored by the BCCI medical team.

Pant met with a road accident while driving from Roorkee to New Delhi in the early hours of December 30. Rishabh Pant sustained injuries on his head, back and feet in the accident. He suffered two cuts on his forehead, a torn ligament in his right knee and injuries to his right wrist, ankle and toe.

Pant was first admitted to Saksham Hospital near Delhi and was shifted to Max Hospital in Dehradun after his condition stabilized. In this case, Rishabh Pant will undergo tendon surgery once he is shifted to Mumbai.

The BCCI also said that the board will make all efforts to speed up the recovery process for Rishabh and provide him with all necessary support during this period.
