Malam Timm, the leading IT and integration group, successfully completed the launch of the S4 HANA ERP system on AWS at Egged and its subsidiaries: Thevel, the operator of the Red Light Rail Line and Egged Travel and Tourism, while meeting the schedules. This is a complex project, which is one of the largest projects that went live in Israel in recent years. The scope of the contract with Melam Tim is about NIS 20 million.
The system assists in the management of Egged’s activity chain, in 21 traffic management branches, 16 nationwide garages, a factory for refurbishing spare parts and MRL and includes the modules: purchasing and inventory, warehouse management, production, sales, maintenance, vehicle fleet management, finance, control, Costing and profitability. All this while implementing dedicated screens developed in UI5 by the company Alterno (Alterno) from Malam Timm, which put an emphasis on user experience. The project included hundreds of interfaces and conversions.
