We believe in freelancers: WeWork Israel and Fiverr collaborate

by time news

Against the background of the changes taking place in the world of work in the last three years, the co-working spaces company WeWork Israel, and the online commerce arena for digital services Fiverr, decided to cooperate for the first time.

As part of the move, WeWork users in Israel will be able to offer design, writing and software development services, on the global Fiverr Business platform – and in fact will gain access to thousands of potential clients around the world. Among other things, they will be able to present a portfolio on the platform, receive orders, manage communication with clients, and manage projects in a collaborative and flexible manner.

In addition, Faber established a dedicated page for WeWork members in Israel, where they can order services from one another based on geographic proximity and a common language, and receive unique benefits.

The Fiber Business platform was developed after the company recognized that in the last two years the number of freelancers in Israel had increased. The platform allows organizations and companies to establish dedicated teams, and to manage long or short-term projects through freelance teams.

According to the marketing manager of Fiber Business, David Shabat, “this cooperation is natural and right, because there is an overlap between the values of the two entities, which represent the future of the world of work.” Elior Jarbi, head of marketing and business development at WeWork Israel, explains that “the move allows us to expose our community members to new business opportunities, and give them a significant advantage in a competitive market.”

The number of active buyers on the Fiverr platform at the end of the third quarter of 2022 was 4.2 million (4.1 million in the corresponding quarter in 2021). In addition, in recent months, many freelancers have joined the platform, and the company explains this with “a period of recession and economic uncertainty”.

Links will make medical information accessible in the US

The Lynx.MD company, which deals with making medical information accessible to start-ups so that they can train their algorithms in the field of digital health, will cooperate with the Gastro Health medical center network in the USA.

Links allows start-ups to use medical information for development purposes, without violating privacy or taking it outside the organization’s systems. In fact, it has developed a “sandbox” environment where hospitals can share the information in a manner controlled by them, without having to perform lengthy processing processes on it.

The company received support from the Innovation Authority to conduct a pilot for the product with the Assaf Harofeh hospital, and it also has a collaboration with a hospital in the US. The current agreement will allow it to obtain significant information specific to the field of gastrointestinal and liver medicine.

The Gastro Health chain is already conducting research and making its information available to researchers, with the desire to be a leading factor in promoting research on the subject. Now she will be able to do it more efficiently and conveniently. According to Dr. John Allen, a member of the Lynx Advisory Committee and former chairman of the American Gastroenterological Association, “the basic business model of the field of gastroenterology has changed dramatically in recent years (in the US).

“Clinics unite to form networks of doctors, who also share information between them that can be valuable for research and personalized treatment. Gastro Health documents the entire journey of the gastro patient in one medical record. The collaboration with Lynx will make it possible to turn the information into insights about the long-term effect of various treatments, and informed decision-making in the clinic.”

Lynx was founded in 2019 by Omer Dror, who serves as CEO, Dr. Robert Eisdropper (Medical VP) and Ofir Farhi (Technology VP). To date the company has raised about 12 million dollars.
