In the “3 million euro week” of “Who wants to be a millionaire” on Wednesday evening, two candidates chatted about their personal encounter with a legendary presenter. Thomas Gottschalk (72) not only approved a currywurst with candidate Ciamak Djamchidi (48) many years ago, but was also cared for by candidate Barbara Erlebach on the plane.
Erlebach had apparently already expected this question and sighed: “Yesterday in bed I was still thinking how I could get around this story. But it was already clear to me: I won’t.” And she was already talking about a celebrity guest that she remembered.
On her first day at work in first class, she had Thomas Gottschalk on the passenger list, who was on his way to Los Angeles, she reported: “I was just as excited as I am here in the chair.”
