Kidnapping of Camille in 2011: her mother Priscilla Majani sentenced to prison

Priscilla Majani was sentenced on appeal to two years and nine months in prison on Wednesday for “child abduction” by the Aix-en-Provence Court of Appeal (Bouches-du-Rhône). She was accused of having kidnapped her daughter Camille for eleven years from her father, who had filed multiple complaints over the years. On the other hand, the mother was acquitted of the counts of slanderous and false denunciations against her ex-husband, but the court ordered her continued detention, as well as her deprivation of civic, civil and family rights for three years.

In 2011, little Camille, a resident of Carqueiranne, in the Var, disappeared shortly after Christmas, while her parents were tearing themselves apart to obtain custody of her. An investigation is opened. Suspicions turn to his mother, Priscilla Majani, a military engineer, employee of the General Directorate of Armaments, described as “unstable” by the local press. She had just picked up the child to spend the holidays.

A simple traffic check

Tried three times, Priscilla Majani had been sentenced to six years in prison for “non-representation of a minor”, “slanderous denunciation” and “child abduction” by the Toulon Judicial Court. At the time, the mother did not appear in court. The authorities lose track of him. Until March 2022.

On March 1, 2022, Priscilla Majani was finally apprehended in the canton of Vaud, during a simple roadside check. His face was recognizable, plastered in police stations. Interpol had issued a search sheet. Priscilla Majani is remanded in custody.

The arrest will also have made it possible to find Camille C., now 16 years old. She was placed under the responsibility of child protection in the canton of Vaud, pending a hearing to decide on her fate. She will have spent two thirds of her life in hiding.

The daughter, who is now 17, has corroborated her mother’s claims about her father raping and beating her as young child. This is terrible, unprofessional, and extremely biased reporting. How dare you report this story without reporting the daughter’s own filed complaint against the pedophilic rapist father.
