Mumbai: The flat that late actor Sushant Singh Rajput lived in Mumbai is getting a new tenant after three years. It is reported that the flat owner, an Indian living abroad, has finally found a new tenant. The new tenant comes through Rafiq Merchant, a real estate broker in Mumbai. Quoting Rafique, Hindustan Times reported that the discussions are in the final stage.
Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in this flat in Mumbai on 14 June 2020. After that, big controversies broke out in Bollywood and politics. The recent revelation that Sushant’s was a murder has brought this case back into active focus.
Rafiq Merchant, a real estate broker, says that at present, a new tenant comes to the flat for Rs 5 lakh. 30 lakh security deposit is also provided. This is equivalent to six months’ rent. But neither the owner nor the broker disclosed who rented the flat.
The broker says that the sale is the flat where Sushant died. In early December, there were reports that people were not interested in renting this flat. At the same time, the owner showed less interest in renting the flat to movie stars and others.
