As part of his position, Sharoni will manage the overall set of labor relations in the organization and will be in charge of the trade unions, the division for labor relations, the professional sectors, the division for negotiations and the division for recruitment and labor unions. Sharoni’s appointment comes at a time of growth and prosperity of the National Histadrut and its positioning as an influential and dominant workers’ organization in the business sector in Israel. In recent years, the organization has grown stronger and added tens of thousands of new members to its ranks.
