Tirupur: The Coimbatore team scored 63 runs in 5.1 overs without losing a wicket in the match against the Sivaganga team.

In the first match held at Wires Sports Club, Murukampalayam, Tirupur, Kanchipuram team and Thiruvarur team clashed. Tiruvarur team won the toss and chose to bowl. Kanchipuram scored 158 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Chasing the target, Tiruvarur scored 123 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs; Kanchipuram won by 35 runs.
In another match, the Sivaganga district team, batting first, lost all wickets and scored 61 runs in 10.2 overs. Chasing a simple target, the Coimbatore team won by scoring 63 runs in 5.1 overs without losing a wicket. The winners Kanchipuram and Coimbatore were awarded two points each.
