Hockey World Cup 2023: India in Group D

Bhubaneswar: The World Cup hosted by India will start on January 13. Bhubaneswar and Rourkala in Odisha will be the venue for the world fight. India is competing in Group D. Apart from India, Spain, England and Wales are in Group D. India’s first match will be against Spain. The match will be played at Bisra Munda Stadium, Rourkala. India’s opponent in the second match is England. The hosts will face Wales in their final group game.

Defender Harmanpreet Singh will lead the Indian team aiming for the World Cup. Experienced Malayali goalkeeper PR Sreejesh’s fourth World Cup.
