Adelaide International Tennis: Belarus qualifies for quarter-finals

The Adelaide International Tennis Tournament is underway in Australia.

In the second round of women’s singles, former number one Victoria Azarenka (Belarus) defeated China’s Qinwen Cheng 6-2, 7-5 to qualify for the quarter-finals.

In another match, former French Open champion Ostapenko (Latvia) suffered a shock 3-6, 0-6 loss to Romania’s Irin Camelia Pegu.

In other matches, Linda Noskova (Czech Republic) and Anse Japier (Tunisia) won to enter the quarter-finals.
