The Adelaide International Tennis Tournament is underway in Australia. In the second round of women’s singles, Victoria Azarenka of Belarus defeated China’s Qinwen Cheng 6-2, 7-5 to qualify for the quarter-finals.

In another similar match, Romania’s Irene Camilia Pegu advanced to the quarter-finals by defeating former French Open champion Ostapenko 6-3, 6-0. In other similar matches, Anne Japier and Linda Noskova won and qualified for the quarter finals.

Similarly, in the quarter-finals, world number 5 Aryna Sabalenka defeated Czech Republic’s Marketa Vondrosova 6-3, 7-5 in straight sets to advance to the semi-finals. Sabalenka has recorded 38 wins. Marketa recorded just 17 hits.
