According to ONE, many coaches recently received the grants and discovered significantly lower amounts than their expected amounts based on the old calculation. It turns out that in the not too distant past the one that used to hand over the grants to the coaches was the joint fund of the Ministry of Culture and Sports with Israeli sports bodies. However, it turns out that this year the Ministry of Culture and Sports chose to do this directly.

In light of this decision, the ministry published in August a new calculation for the amounts of incentives that the coaches receive, with the calculation significantly different from the one published by the foundation at the beginning of 2022. Now, the athletes will receive a full grant for one major award and a reduced amount for each additional medal. The final result as stated is that they grant a lower amount.
