IDF and Shin Bet fighters arrested suspects for shooting at the settlement of Shaked last month. In a joint operational activity of the IDF and members of the General Security Service in the Menasha regional division, a number of suspects were recently arrested for shooting at the settlement, which did not result in any casualties. The activities were carried out following intelligence information from the Shin Bet and the suspects were transferred for further investigation by the security forces.
We will recall that on Saturday night about two weeks ago, terrorists opened fire on the settlement of Shaked in northern Samaria. By the grace of heaven, the attack ended without casualties, but one of the bullets hit one of the houses in the settlement. After the attack, IDF forces began searching the area, with the aim of tracking down the terrorists.
The Jenin Battalion of the Islamic Jihad accepted responsibility for the attack, shortly after the shooting: “Our fighters fired in bursts at the Shaked settlement at 5:30 p.m.”
