Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir arrived last night (Thursday) for his first visit to the Nafha Security Prison of the Prison Service, accompanied by the Commissioner of Prisons Rav Gondar Kati Perry and the senior command staff of the Shavas who presented him with the new incarceration conditions in the renovated prison.
During the visit, the minister visited the new wings that were built in the last year for the security prisoners, which include security elements that will make it difficult for them to escape, as the wings are adapted to the High Court’s decision regarding the living space. The minister came to the place to make sure that the conditions of the security prisoners will not be improved. Increased the new conditions, when in each cell there will be six prisoners in three bunk beds. In addition, the entire cell floor is cemented, and the Israeli flag is hoisted at the entrance to each wing.

During the tour, the Minister met the senior command staff in the South District, led by the district commander Gonder Hazi Markovich, and met the prison staff at Nafha Prison, under the command of Gen. Denis Bagon, and thanked them for their dedication to the security of the country.
