A Gauff-Masarova final in Auckland

Seeded number 1 in Auckland, Cori Gauff has so far held her rank as the American qualified for the final of the New Zealand tournament. She very easily dominated Danka Kovinic in the semis by conceding only two short games (6-0, 6-2). For the title, she will challenge the Spaniard Rebeka Masarova, victorious over the Belgian Ysaline Bonaventure (6-3, 6-3).
