MÁLAGA, 7 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The municipal spokesperson for Ciudadanos (Cs) and candidate for the Mayor’s Office of Malaga, Noelia Losada, has drawn this 2023 that begins as “a year full of challenges”, among which she has placed housing as “the largest” that the capital in a context with “soaring rental and purchase prices, impossible mortgages, through the roof, and suffocating housing prices”.

Thus, through a video with which he congratulates the New Year and the arrival of the Three Wise Men, he wanted to make clear his party’s commitment to this matter, which means that the Government of Spain, the Junta de Andalucía and the Malaga City Council sign an agreement for the creation of Official Protection Housing (VPO), “but really, real and in more quantity”, he specified.

In addition, he has elaborated on the Cs proposal to establish long-term rental tax discounts “to end this large bag of existing empty homes” and the simplification of land acquisition procedures “so that a developer is equal profitable to build or promote houses of 200,000 than of 400,000 euros”.

“We propose to put an end to the capital gain from inheritance so that it is easier for the children to start their project in the house that belonged to their parents with a lot of work, and also the recovery of the mortgage deduction in habitual residence,” he added in this regard.

Losada, who considers Malaga “a wonderful place to invest and an extraordinary place to visit”, has launched a message of unity for this year “to go much further than celebrating international covers and successful reviews”, because, although he acknowledges that “it is phenomenal and it is a shared merit”, “now it is time to focus on responding to issues such as housing, mobility, cleanliness and the environment”, he pointed out.

In this sense, he has asked to put aside the infographics and “resolve issues that have been pending for so many years” such as the Guadalmedina river, the Baños del Carmen, Arraijanal, the Benítez Camp or the old Cruz de Humilladero prison; while continuing to work on “challenges” such as Expo 2027, the creation of a Wizink Center-type building, attracting sports celebrations or “continuing at the top of cultural cities.”

“With this objective we have been working hard from our government responsibilities,” said the spokesperson for the party with which the PP forms a government team in the Malaga City Council. “But the real goal is for Malaga to be a land full of options, with possibilities for everyone, hospitable,” she defended.

And for all this, Losada is confident that 2023 “will put us on the path of looking face to face and face to face with our problems. Hopefully this exciting year will bring us the best as a city and the city, of course, has to have neighbors at the center of their priorities”, he concluded.
