Rain continues in Oman: Thunderstorm warning

Muscat: Rain continues in various parts of Oman. Meteorologists say that rain will continue in many parts of the country on Thursday. The rainfall is intensifying as part of the formation of low pressure. Meteorologists predict that there is also a chance of thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, Civil Defense and Ambulance rescued a family of three trapped in Wadi in Khasab Vilayam of Musandam Governorate. They were trapped in the plaintiff’s car and were brought out from inside the car by the rescue workers. The authorities have instructed that people should not descend on the wadis and vehicles should not be unloaded on the wadis.

Wind speed will be 28 to 45 km per hour. Two to three meter waves are also expected along the coasts of Musandam and North Bathina governorates. The authorities also asked people to be extremely cautious in case of continued rain.
