The surprising protest of Celine Dion fans outside the offices of the American magazine

by time news

Fan protest: The American cultural magazine “Rolling Stone” recently published the list of “Greatest Singers of All Time”. One of the singers who did not enter it in the end, is the Canadian Celine Dion.

Yesterday at noon, some of the singer’s fans arrived near the magazine’s offices, in order to protest her exclusion from the list. “How can you forget Celine?” was written on one of the protest signs at the site. On other signs that were raised during the fan protest, it was written, among other things: “Justice for Celine”, “Celine’s power” and “Celine is no longer alone”.

The protest was apparently organized by a group of fans calling themselves the “Red Heads”. The group’s founder, Lane Besbos, who was also present, said that most of the protesters came all the way from Canada to protest the issue.

French-Canadian broadcaster Julie Snyder also took part in the unusual protest, saying about the singer: “She won an Oscar, Grammy, American music awards”, and even claimed that “she was forgotten”.
