Ben Gabir orders the police to prevent celebrations of the terrorist’s release

Upon Yunes’ release, the Minister of Internal Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, ordered the police to prevent celebrations of the terrorist’s release both outside the prison and in the village where he lives, Kfar Aara. Ben Gabir even presented to the office staff an opinion that states that celebrations on the occasion of his release are considered support for terrorism. Upon his release, the terrorist Younes was taken by the prison service to Ra’anana where he met his family.

As mentioned, in November 1980, Karim Younes and his cousin, Maher Younes, kidnapped the soldier Avraham Bromberg, the 14th, who was standing at the Hadera intersection on the way to his home to Zichron Ya’akov from the military base where he served in the Golan Heights. The two, Israeli citizens living in Kfar Aara, shot him and took him out on the side of the road while bleeding.
