Food Safety Department special inspection in 440 establishments; 26 were closed

Thiruvananthapuram: Health Minister Veena George said that the Food Safety Department conducted special inspections in 440 establishments across the state today. 26 establishments including 11 unsanitary and 15 unlicensed establishments were suspended. Notices were issued to 145 institutions.
