Avatar was a film celebrated by moviegoers all over the world. Even when the second part of the film, Avatar the Way of Water, was released, movie buffs welcomed it with open arms. This was also a film that rewrote the existing movie concepts. Years ago, director James Cameron had said about the sequels of Avatar. The release dates of Avatar 3, 4 and 5 have also been released. But after several postponements, Avatar 2 hit the theaters last year. Now James Cameron has shared information about the sequels of Avatar.

Cameron shared the information while participating in HBO Max’s Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace. The director is now assuring that the sequels of Avatar will happen anyway. Cameron previously said that Avatar 2 would need to raise at least $2 billion to recover from its losses, but only to make sequels. He also spoke about the success of Avatar 2 recently.

I can’t seem to get out of this. Of course it will have to do sequels – said Cameron. I know what I’m going to do for the next six or seven years. I’m sure we’ll be discussing the game plan for Avatar 3 with Disney execs soon. We have already completed the shooting of Avatar 3. Post production works including visual effects are left.

The writing of Avatar 4 and 5 parts has been completed. The shooting of some parts of the fourth part has also been completed, added Cameron. Meanwhile, there are also reports that the third part will be about the dark side of marines. Avatar The Way of Water, starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana and Kate Winslet, hits theaters on December 16. Avatar 2 is the highest grossing film released last year. The film has collected $1.5 billion worldwide so far.
