The new book by Harry, the British prince who left Britain for the US after he claims he suffered in the palace, describes long-standing grievances and bitterness within the royal family, including a claim that he and his brother pressured their father not to marry Camilla after their mother’s death.
But one of Harry’s most notable claims, reported in the Guardian newspaper, was how he was physically attacked by Prince William in an argument. Buckingham Palace responded that “it will not comment on that.” Additional accusations from the book have been made public and are very embarrassing for Buckingham Palace.
Prince Harry writes that he is William, they begged their father not to marry Camilla for fear that she would be their evil stepmother, the British Sun reported.
The newspaper writes that it obtained a copy of the Spanish-language book after it was mistakenly published before its official release date, and reports that Harry claims he and his brother held separate meetings with Camilla before she officially joined the family. Harry claims he debated whether she would one day be his “wicked stepmother”, but he and his brother were willing to forgive her “in their hearts” if she could make King Charles happy. There is no mention of when the meeting took place or how old Prince Harry was at the time.
Prince Harry describes how his grief over the death of his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, led him to seek help from a woman who “claimed to have powers”.
“Your mother says you’re living the life she couldn’t live,” Harry said the woman told him. “You are living the life she wanted for you.” Princess Diana was killed in a car accident in Paris in 1997 when Prince Harry was 12. Prince Harry’s account of a conversation he said he had about his late mother gave no further details. Also, it was not reported where and when the meeting with the woman took place.
In addition, Prince Harry claims that his brother grabbed his collar, tore off his chain and dropped him on the floor at his London cottage. The book tells about an argument between the couple, which Harry claims was caused by William’s brother’s words towards Harry’s wife. Prince Harry writes that his brother was critical of his wife Meghan Markle, when Prince William described her in unflattering terms.
